Workplace Safety

Mercer Home Efficiency & Safety Policies

1. Due to intense demand for subcontractors and superintendents, Mercer Home will not accept any change requests to homes after the Framing Walk. This is a firm policy. Changes lead to schedule delays and postpone closing dates and homeowner move-in dates.

2. All contact from Buyers to Superintendents shall be through email. Superintendents will not give out their cell phone numbers. This helps create a written trail of communication between the buyers, builders, and agents, increases efficiency, and prevents miscommunication or misperception of deliverables.

3. Buyers may visit job sites with Hampstead Sales Agents during scheduled times only. Superintendents are juggling numerous trades and contractors on every job site, and unplanned site visits slow productivity.

4. All homes (spec and pre-sales) will be closed and locked during non-work hours including weekends. No one is allowed to enter a job site without a Mercer Home or Hampstead Community Realty representative.
